A few people questioned the reasoning behind why I posted about Kanye West in the past. Most judge his behavior. Kanye is an artist. An artists job is to force you to have an opinion. With that, he continues to push the envelope in many facets of the world. I love that he brings a message of “I can be whatever I want to be” to people everywhere.

Asian Yoga Holidays
The website Asian Yoga Holidays is a nice site to discover yoga retreats and “yoga holidays.”
Having recognized the importance of stress-free, serene, and inspiring environments, we have sought out our hospitality partners carefully and are now able to offer a wide variety of life-enriching Yoga and Yoga-related holiday packages, ranging from week-long yoga retreats and full-immersion workshops to weekend intensives and private classes. While format and duration vary, high quality standards remain a constant. All programmes are taught by experienced and highly qualified teachers, who – together with the facilitators at the host resort – are sure to provide a supportive environment, cater to your needs and live up to your high expectations.
This site caught my eye because of the “teacher” section.
Our teacher’s teacher, Reinhard Gammenthaler, has interviews on the site. The interview provides a lucid look into Reinhard’s life.
Take a look and click around. It could be of benefit to our practice.

BBC: Harvard plans to boldly go with ‘Spocs’
If you’ve only just caught on to the concept of online university courses called Moocs, then you’re in danger of falling behind again.
Harvard, one of the world’s most influential universities, is moving on to Spocs – which stands for small private online courses. Nothing to do with Star Trek and sombre Vulcans, but plenty to do with ambitions “to boldly go”.
And could these be the real deal? The academic chairing Harvard’s online experiments says we are already “post-Mooc”.
Moocs – massive open online courses – have been something of a hurricane in universities, making a lot of noise and promising to rip everything up.
Pioneered by some of the most prestigious US universities, they have been re-packaging course units into online lessons and making them available to anyone with an internet connection.
But it’s still not clear whether this is a passing storm or something that will fundamentally change how higher education is delivered.
Last week the UK joined the fray, with more than 20 universities launching an online platform called FutureLearn, which will challenge the dominant players on the east and west US coasts.

The 26 Best Places to Pitch a Tent in the US
After spending the day wandering wooded paths, watching a family of deer leisurely grazing in a field of wild flowers, and dipping a toe or two in the frigid crystal clear creek, you curl up in a warm down sleeping bag next to a campfire to peer up at the glowing stars and enjoy a few (hundred) s’mores. Ahh, peace and quiet! You zip up into your tent for a few (mosquito-free) hours, and wake to the birds chirping and the faint hint of early morning sunlight. This is what camping is all about.

Inside the Hyperloop
We were having a conversation this weekend, and Elon Musk came up, again. He is changing our world.
Yesterday we featured the 60 minutes profile filmed last year.
Today, we talk about a project that was introduced about 1.5 months ago, The Hyperloop.
It has been featured on LP before but not discussed in detail.
The Telegraph did a nice job covering the launch – here.
